Der Syntagma-Platz in Athen erhielt seinen heutigen Namen am 3.09.1843, als König Otto von einem Balkon des königlichen Palastes aus seine Zustimmung zur konstitutionellen Monarchie verkündete, heute ist er ein beliebter Ort voller Athener und Touristen. Syntagma Square got its current name on September 3, 1843, where King Otto proclaimed his consent to the constitutional monarchy from a balcony of the royal palace, today it is a popular place filled with residents and tourists.
